Weld-Be-Gone
The Weld-Be-Gone series is a great item for the do-it-yourselfers out there. These fittings allow you to install drain valves and thermometers into your stainless steel brewpot, without having to employ a stainless steel welder. All you have to do is make the hole and tighten the fitting--that is all it takes! There are many options for the finicky homebrewer, all of which include High-temp Silicon washers that are rated at 450 degrees F. With the Drain Valve kits, you have your choice of Bronze or Stainless Steel Ball valves that are 1/2 inch full port with Teflon seats. The inside fitting is also 1/2 inch FPT. The drain valve kits will require a 7/8 inch hole. The through-wall bulkhead fittings and threaded nipples are available separately if you have your own ball valve.

For Pots
Fitting consists of a stainless steel coupling, stainless steel washer and threaded nipple with 2 high-temp silicone "O" rings and a brass lock nut to tighten the assembly from the outside.   This provides you with 1/2 inch male threads on the outside of the pot to attach a ball valve and female threads on the inside to attach a filter screen or false bottom.

For Coolers
Same as above product but slightly longer to fit through thicker cooler walls.

Hose Barbs
Use these to attach a Hose Barb to the outside end of your Ball Valve above.  This allows you to attach either 3/8" or 1/2" siphon hose.  This is very handy for draining your wort into your fermenter.
